Winter Trail Conditions
Updated: Friday April 3 @ 7:45am
Ski Trails
SOME TRAILS OPEN (NORTH ONLY) ✅
Current Condition:
We've done the best we could with what mother nature gave us to give you all another weekend of skiing. We received a little less than an inch of new snow. Not enough to use the tiller, so the new snow was just compressed and groomed to create a relatively good skate deck. Tracks were not reset and are inconsistent throughout the system.
Overall 75% of what is open is still very good. However the other sections are either thin, icy, or have some dirty snow. As a result we are recommending B Skis for the weekend. The only area of rock exposure is at the trailhead, specifically as you return to the Chalet next to the sledding hills and skills park.
Planned Grooming/Maintenance:
We plan to groom again using a similar approach of combing and compressing any new snow on Saturday and/or Sunday morning depending on the accumulation. Trails will remain open through the weekend and we will reassess conditions again on Monday morning.
Fat Bike Trails
CLOSED FOR THE SEASON ❌
With consistently warmer temperatures and a good amount of freeze/thaw over the last 2 weeks, the fat bike trails are officially closed for the season.
See you for dirt season in May!
Snowshoe Trails
ALL TRAILS OPEN ✅
Current Condition:
Trails are a completely mixed bag after a couple of weeks of warmer temperatures. There is still some good snow coverage in areas but there are also some thin, icy sections.
Snowshoe are no longer mandatory, but traction devices (crampons, yaktrax, etc) are strongly encouraged.
Sledding Hill
CLOSED FOR THE SEASON ❌
Conditions are too icy and too unsafe at this point. The sledding hill is officially closed for the season.
Live GPS Grooming from Nordic Pulse
All dates and times listed reflect when trail grooming was completed on that route. We ask that you wait at least 1 hour after grooming has finished to allow the trails to set-up properly.
