Discover your next Nordic ski adventure across 23 kilometers (13+ miles) of trails cut through breathtaking maple, pine, and aspen forests. This is the perfect setting for a winter escape. Our professionally groomed system provides both classic and skate skiing, offering engaging, rolling terrain that skiers of all skill levels will enjoy.
- Navigation is simple! Choose a distance at the trailhead and follow the color-coded routes. With detailed maps and signage at every intersection, you can easily mix and match loops to create your own adventure as your confidence grows.
- The Best Conditions: Our staff focuses on maintaining the best skate deck and clean classic tracks. Get live grooming updates instantly via Nordic Pulse so you always know when the latest corduroy was laid down.
- Warm-Up Stops: Take a break mid-ski at our small warming hut. Featuring a firepit (will the necessary supplies), table, and benches it is the perfect spot for a cozy trailside treat.
- Post-Ski Relaxation: The day isn't over when you leave the trails! Unwind in our gorgeous chalet by the masonry fireplace and grab a beverage from the WinMan Bar while soaking up the views.
- Free Kid’s Skis: Get the little ones started early! Borrow our free Nordic Rocks skis (located in the chalet) are designed for kids ages 6-12 and allow children to wear regular winter boots so they can easily hit the trails.
- Dog-Friendly Fun: Bring your furry friend. Eight kilometers of specially designated, well-marked trails welcome skijorers and companions alike. (Note: Please read our Dog Policy before your visit and remember to always clean up after your pet.)
- Waxing Station: Gear up for peak performance at our convenient, full ski waxing station, stocked with all the tools you need.
Nordic Rocks Skis
Nordic Rocks skis and poles have been developed by a dedicated, passionate group of staff and volunteers at Central Cross Country Skiing (CXC). The goal is to introduce a new generation to the exciting world of skiing, simply and affordably.
The adjustable bindings have been designed so that skiers can wear almost any outdoor winter shoe or boot. Accompanied by fully adjustable poles to fit any child's height.
The skis are completely free to use, anytime of day and are located inside the chalet at the main trailhead.
General Guidelines:
- 120cm skis are designed for ages 6-10 (or who weigh less than 100 pounds)
- 160cm skis are designed for anyone over 10 years (or who weigh 100-150 pounds)
